Best of Weddings & Engagements 2014

12/31/2014

This year has been crazy amazing. I have dreamt big and done a lot of things for my business that I never thought would actually happen. (As if I actually drove to Richmond, VA for a Katelyn James workshop!?!? Crazy right?!)

I am growing more and more as a photographer all of the time and am consistently trying to make it a more personal, spoiling, and sentimental experience for my couples. Make room for some even crazier stuff 2015!

In rewind, here are some of my favourite images from the year. Enjoy!

Amanda + Craig | Kanata Winter Engagement Session

12/22/2014

When I start my pre-session spiel, I always talk about how it will be awkward for the first 20 minutes or so while they get comfortable both in front of the camera and learning how they interact with each other photographically. Unless I blacked out, I don't remember ANY awkward!

They said they had never had any professional photos done but I almost don't believe them! They were perfectly natural and interactive from the first moment (which made my job super easy).

These two are something else and I can't wait for their elegant church wedding in May!

New Website Launch and Giveaways!

12/16/2014

Meet Julie! Isn't she the cutest?!

I am beyond excited to be launching my brand new website tomorrow morning!!! I have been working hard with the amazing Julie Story for this crazy personal creation. I have always been proud of my self made websites in the past, but there was always some doubt - because I'm a photographer, not a designer!!

I went into this with a lot of ideas that Julie was able to implement. Not to mention, I've been wanting to do this for so long - I just wanted to make sure that I was in it for the long run first.

Thank you so much to Katelyn James for helping me solidify a lot of scattered ideas in my head and straightening me out. I drove all the way to Richmond, VA with no regrets because I came out of it with so much.

Thank you to Julie to found the most "me" niche that was right in front of my face that I never saw. She discovered I was best fit as the "photographer for sentimental brides." Perfect, right?

So I'm not going to reveal everything today but here's my home page ;)

I will be doing hourly giveaways so be sure to stay tuned to my Facebook page & event all day tomorrow!!

Thanks for everyone who has followed me thus far. Thanks to all of my past and present clients, and all of my #NAbrides to come!!! xoxo
