Destination Wedding Seeking

12/03/2015

I'm so happy with how 2015 has gone for all of my couples this year! Even the ones who didn't think they'd be able to get their engagement session in before the snow came, or before they went back home from out of town. We nailed it guys!! I seriously love how all my clients are so accommodating and game on everything. 2016 weddings will rock because of it, I hope you know that.

Now I've shot in Ottawa a whole bunch now. I've down weddings in Perth, and Cornwall, and Pembroke. But I'm looking to get out. I'd LOVE to get some destination weddings under my belt. Not necessarily just hot tropical locations either, I'm game for anything. The definition of a destination wedding is considered a wedding that takes place two or more hours away from the bride's home. Even if it's not "destination" in your books, I'd love to get out and photograph some beautiful weddings everywhere!

I have a whole bunch of locations to knock off my bucket list, so email me. I'm looking at shooting a whole bunch of locations for only travel costs! ;) If you know anyone planning a destination wedding, I'd love to chat with them!

Contact me through my website and let me know your destination!

Enjoy some photos of some personal traveling I've done with Max.

Celina + Matt | Engaged

11/17/2015

When I say "love knows," I'm not just writing about one of my couples. I am a true believer in fate and whatever will be, will be. Matt and Celina met online, like many do these days. They hit it off so well online, they planned to meet for the first time a little last minute, because they didn't want to wait until after the holidays. So they met December 23rd of last year. Matt's sister mentioned to them about not rushing into things, but when you look at Celina and Matt now, you can tell things aren't rushed. They just fell perfectly into place in a timely manor.

There's a huge difference between being high school sweethearts and slowly developing into something beautiful. That's it's own type of romantic. There's something else to be said for people who are at an age that they want life to start right now, meet someone, and they aren't the only ones that realize it's meant to be right away. She beams around him, and that emulates through each and every photo that went by during this stunning sunrise that I spent with them. I can't wait to see the look on each their faces when they see each other for the first time on their wedding day in July.

Alison + Stewart | Engaged

11/12/2015

Love is such an amazing and crazy thing. I hear so many love stories, and they are all so different, but the one thing I have found in common is when you know, you know. I realize there are a lot of people that may slowly develop into a relationship, but for so many of my couples, it almost just hits them right away!

Alison and Stewart met the first week of Alison's working at their accounting firm. They went out for drinks after work and the rest is history. Simple, sweet, and to the point. When it falls together, it just does, and you don't have a choice on timing. That's what's so amazing about love. (Typically) the connection is either there, or it's not.

I'm sure there are very few girls who wouldn't love a proposal in Paris, so Stewart really got it right. These two are just a solid, serious couple, with a fun side and super romantic. You'll see Alison and Stewart tying the knot on Canada Day so be on the lookout next year!
