Ashley + Jonathan

1/26/2016

From the moment I first started emailing Ashley, I could tell how fun a person she was, and how excited she was about the whole wedding planning process. I'm pretty sure I went off in a daze when she was telling me all of her ideas because it all just seemed so dreamy, not to mention finally checking Stonefields Heritage Farm off my bucket list!
Ashley and Jon balance each other out quite wonderfully. He's more quiet and she's excitable and giggly. But both so game to do whichever the other wanted to do for their session. I know their wedding will be so outdoorsy him yet prettily her. June can't come soon enough!

Max & I | 5 Years Together

1/21/2016

Today marks five years with my Max. WHAT?! It doesn't even seem real that it's been this long. And along with it comes a very cheesy set of photos from our five years together. We have been through so much and done so much together, I can't even imagine doing it all again with anyone else.

You've held me together through life when no one else could, and there's no where close to thanking you enough for that. You've been so supportive with my crazy wedding photographer dreams, I am so excited that you've started on a path of your own doing what only everyone but you thought you should be doing.

I love you my handsome mechanic. I can't wait to see what the rest of life has in store for us.

Genny + Doug

1/19/2016

We were worried for a while at the end of 2015, but the new year came along with snow...and lots of it. Genny + Doug had wanted to do their engagement session during the winter from the start. She dreamed of blankets, hot chocolate and snow - so I was really excited to see it come to life.
The morning of their session, it snowed and snowed! The light dusting made Genny's family farm property look stunning, if I wasn't a sucker for farm houses and barns anyway.
After a chilly session, baring unmittened ring hands, Genny, Doug & I spent an hour sipping hot chocolate indoors and talking about life. Can't wait for their June 2017 wedding!
